Taxies all have meters and are terrible expensive, which is partly due to the long distances and jammed traffic. If you have work close to the airport try stop a taxi rather then pick one waitingbecause the driver do not like just to earn 7 EUR rather then the 30 EUR (50 TRL) you pay to go to the down town. A one to 1.5 hour to ride to the Asian side cost you 70 to 100 TRL (40 to 60 EUR).
